North and South Hancock
North and South Hancock peaks. Went with AMC SEM (amcsem.org), my second and third winter 4k footer. Decided to try using my polestar 2 to get there, before Tesla opens their charging stations. Had to spend over 90 minutes at the Tilton outlets on their volta 50kW charger. Got snacks and coffee at starbucks on way up, then five guys fries on way down. Temp got up to the mid 20Fs, with wind around 5 mph at the top for a chill of around 12F. Parked at the Hancock overlook, then went up the hancock loop to hit south before north. It was very steep with loose snow, so televators on snow shoes really helped. By the time we were coming down, all the snow was melting so much that everyone was postholing constantly, even with snow shoes.
